Please be aware that P&O Cruises Australia will be making some updates to our Deposit, Final Payment and Refund Schedule. See below for all details on the changes that will be implemented effective 15 November 2023.
Please note, these changes will only apply to new bookings made, and does not impact any existing bookings created before this effective date.

Deposit amount for 1-4 night Short Break cruises
A deposit payment is required for all guests (including third and fourth berths) travelling on a cruise. The deposit amount is the same for all guests (including children), as follows:
- For sailings from 1 to 4 nights in length: $100 per guest
- For sailings from 5 to 11 nights in length: $250 per guest
- For sailings from 12 to 27 nights in length: $400 per guest
- For sailings 28 nights in length or longer: $600 per guest

Final payment will be due 90 days prior to sailing
For any new booking made from 15 November 2023, final payment will be required as follows:
- For sailings up to 27 nights in length: a minimum of 90 days prior to departure
- For sailings 28 nights in length or longer: a minimum of 180 days prior to departure.
- All bookings made within the final payment period will require payment of the full cruise fare at the time of booking.

Updated standard refund schedule for cruises up to 27 nights
The refund due for a cruise booking depends on the fare type booked and how many days prior to departure the booking is cancelled. Our updated Standard policy for departures up to 27 nights is below:

To make it easier for guests to stay connected with family and friends, for any new bookings made from 15 November 2023, the Value Plus Fare will now include the Premium WiFi Package. The Premium Wi-Fi Package is our most comprehensive internet plan at sea and includes everything in our Social Talk+ package plus video streaming.
